राष्ट्रीय वित्तीय प्रबंधन संस्थान (रा. वि. प्र. सं.), एक भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय की स्वायत संस्था है| इस संस्था को केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने मंजूरी दे दी थी| मंत्रालय द्वारा किए गए प्रस्ताव के आधार पर 1993 में इस संस्था को स्थापित किया गया था| केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने परिकल्पना की थी कि रा. वि. प्र. सं. संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा नियुक्त अधिकारियों के लिए एक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान के रूप में शुरू होगा जो की वार्षिक सिविल सेवा परीक्षा के माध्यम से संघ लोक सेवा आयोग और विभिन्न वरिष्ठ और शीर्ष प्रबंधन लेखा और वित्त में कार्य करने के लिए जिम्मेदार पदों में सेवाओं के लिए आवंटित भारत सरकार के लिए काम करते हैं|

Faculties

This creates an exceptional environment for developing a range of programmes that can build sound theory for analyzing complex financial management issues.
Management Development Programmes (MDP)
The Institute conducts large number of short duration courses (Management Development Programmes) in the areas of Public Expenditure Management, Budgeting, Public Financial Administration, Financial Management, Accounting, Internal Audit, Procurement, IT, HR, etc. All the MDPs whether open or sponsored are generally residential Programmes.
